Explanation: I was working on this series for a textile designer. The dresses are meant to be primarily light sculptures rather than being worn. I still wanted to work with them on the human body – because I was very interested in seeing the shapes and shadings they make. I tried give it a little futuristic touch.

Melissa Rodwell’s Critique: The use of the lighting on the fabric is impeccable. I like the choice of model as well and the hair and make-up really added to the overall shot. Great job Katrin!
