Name: Sazeli Jalal
Explanation: I did this campaign shoot for my client brand ELOHIM for their A/W09 collection. The concept of her garments was inspired by the idea of a women in control, “a Control Freak”. I took the original design concept and turn into a “slave and master” story set in an apartment where the model is in control of the situation surrounded by her loyal mannequins slaves.

Melissa Rodwell’s Critique: Very interesting and innovative fashion shot. I first noticed the blue tones used and thought it was very effective overall, especially with the black outfit the model is wearing. I got the bondage part that you I later read in your explanation and for the theme I thought Sazeli’s use of the androgynous model was perfect. Would love to see this big! Think it needs a big canvas size to show the many different elements in the photograph! Good job with styling, hair and make up as well. Congrats, Sazeli.
The lighting is what really draws me to this but also for what the image itself is being used for I have to say that I am impressed with your delivery of the concept and how well it connects to the fashion. Your web galley is amazing by the way.
