Explanation: A while ago I had my image win the “shot of the week”. I was told It was a good image but I needed to work on the styling. This inspired me to work harder on my next shoots. This is one my favorites from the day.

Melissa Rodwell’s Critique: Before I even looked at Daniel’s explanation, I thought, “the styling is really tight on this shot”. And it is! I’m impressed how Daniel took my advice and followed through. I adore the detail that I see in the sweater and the pleats. The model is sweet for this type of clothing, very soft and demure. Daniel used his lighting to bring out the details in the clothes and to set the mood for the shot. Awesome job, Daniel!
