This is one of my favorite pictures ever taken of me! I feel so bad, photographers get a great deal of grief for over shopping my pictures, truth is, as a makeup artist, I pile on the concealer until I am virtually pore-less! I'm glad your getting recognition for your outstanding work Luke!

Not gonna lie, I adore rodents. I have kept rats and mice for ever. I think they are fantastic and wonderful pets to interact with. , though this particular one belongs to the model.

I might add here too that you even made the rat look great, which is no easy task working with animals!

Ah! There it is! Your site is great!! Everyone should take a look at Luke Copping's website: http://www.lukecopping.com. Congrats on a great shot, Luke. In fact, a lot of your work deserves mention because so much of it is really good.

Melissa, sorry you couldn't reach the site last night, I was doing some updates so it might have been unavailable briefly. However I checked the link that you have posted and all seems to be working fine now. though it does seem to be loading a little slow this morning

If anyone has any trouble with the link still, you can see the same portfolios at

http://www.dripbook.com/LukeCopping/splash/

and

http://www.lukecopping.com

Please let me know if any of you have any trouble reaching the site.

I agree that I could have pulled back on the retouching a bit, a more natural look is something I am working towards and I'm working on being able to pull it back. In retrospect, I definitely wish her skin was a tad more natural to play into the vintage feel of it. We definitely came at this with an influence of the 20's Weimar Republic Era, although the hair was totally inspired by Louise Brooks, but I am glad that that overall 20's feel communicates well.
